The big news at Sliderule is Splitters — you can now manage workflow branches directly on the graph, making it even easier to create conditional paths. Check out our other upgrades as well!

New Features:

  • Splitter Nodes: A new type of block that lets you manage conditional branches in your workflows, directly on the graph. Learn more here

  • Auto Link Detection in Alerts: if you’re one of the teams that passes links to your internal admin tools into your workflows, for easy access later inside your Alerts — Sliderule now detects URLs in the Alert Details card, and auto-converts into clickable links.

Upgrades:

  • Copy/Paste Rulesets across workflows: Right-click on a Ruleset in one workflow and click Copy. Then enter your destination workflow, right-click anywhere on the grey graph canvas, and click Paste.

  • Improved workflow auto-layout: You can click on the triple dot menu at the top of your workflow graph canvas, then click “Layout” to snap your blocks into a clean, easy-to-read flow.

  • Improved UI for Else conditions in Approvals Screen: if you’re using Approvals for your Workflow, you’ll see an updated layout for Else and Else/If blocks in your rules.

  • Expanded Helper Tooltip for Inline Functions: when you’re using one of our inline functions in a rule, you’ll see a larger tooltip with detailed instructions on function arguments and expected responses in the editor window.
