Our first release of 2024 includes a big overhaul of how Sliderule handles change requests and approvals for production workflows.

New Features:

  • Change Requests - document potential changes and sign-off steps using Sliderule's new Change Request feature. Change Requests then persist as an artifact, so you can always see the full record of changes and approval steps for your sensitive workflows. Learn more here

  • Customizable Approval Flows - configure custom approval logic for your Change Requests, before any changes get deployed. You can select from a variety of Approval types, including sign-off by team. Learn more here

Upgrades:

  • Rules in Shadow Mode now support analytics two ways - from the analytics tab in Sliderule, you can view a preview of 250 recent runs through your rule to assess performance, or you can trigger a batch runner job for more results from much larger datasets.

  • New functions for strings and lists, including to_upper, to_lower, and intersection - check out all our in-line functions here

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed issue displaying long URLs on customized alert cards

  • Fixed issues with occasional incorrect properties passed to subworkflows
